Hair Removal Naturally
Having unwanted hair on your body is not pleasant, especially if it’s in places that are difficult to hide. Women find it most challenging when they have unwanted facial hair, however some men also suffer from excessive back hair and between the eyebrows.
There are many options on how to approach removing unwanted hair, and they range is price and comfort!!
Laser treatment is the most common in women wanting to remove facial hair, as it is most effective and is not painful, like electrolysis can be. Laser is able to remove multiple follicles at once also, where as electrolyis can only work on one at a time.
Like all hair removal treatments , you have to keep going back for laser treatment every few months, sometimes more frequent than this. The results tend to be reasonable, but not 100%, and more like 50% less hair than before treatment.
Other treatments includes waxing, plucking, shaving, bleaching, using depilatory products that dissolve the hair follicle.
Most women don’t like the thought of shaving their face, in fear that the hair will grow back thicker and darker, and lead to “afternoon shadow” which men get at the end of the day.
Things to Avoid
Treatment is always a good thing, but again as I often say in this blog, it’s a good idea to look at the whole picture and try and see if you can work out if there is anything causing the problem that you can stop
.
When it comes to hair loss things like mediactions can have side effects of hair growth, which is often related to an inbalance in testosterone levels caused by the drug.
Also there are theories that some animals products where the animal is given hormones, such as chickens, can be ingested when we eat the meat, and this too can lead to increased levels of testosterone, and hair growth results.
Expectations
One of the problems with hair removal techniques is that they can only effect, at best 40% of the hair at any one time, although laser is higher. The reason for this is that nearly all techniques only remove hair when it is in the growing phrase, which is about 40% of the total hair on your skin.
Hair that is not in the growing phrase, is in either the resting or the shedding phase and therefore will not be targeted when attempting to remove the unwanted hair.
Problems with Laser Treatment
Although laser is a popular treatment choice, it is not always a good choice. Have a look at this video below, and you will see exactly what I mean!!!!
