After a lot of requests I finally got around to writing a review on the popular eye wrinkle prevention cream Hydrolyze. You can read all about this in my Hydrolzye reviews directly below, so you can decide if this eye cream is for you or not.
In order to explain what I discovered about this product I first need to explain a few important things about what causes dark lines and wrinkles under the eyes in the first place.
Far to often I come across eye creams that do absolutely nothing for preventing or reversing wrinkles, the reason being that they simply don’t contain the necessary ingredients needed to cause the changes needed.

No one likes dark lines under their eyes, they look terrible and make you look much older than you should, so it’s worth the time to figure out why you are getting them. Dark lines are caused by blood in small capillaries (vessels) under the eye that are low in the oxygen carrying compound in the blood called Haemoglobin.
If you have ever had a bad bruise you will have seen this before, the area of the bruise goes an ugly purple and dark color. This is similar to what is happening under your eyes but in a much smaller area.
The cause of this is usually due to the metabolism changes that occur with age and is stress also a big player, causing the small blood vessels under the eye to leak, and this blood starts to collect and the outcome is that dark lines begin to form.
The other unwanted outcome of aging is deep wrinkles. Some of you may know what causes these, but for those of you who don’t, essentially your skin is made up a lot of important compounds, the most important being collagen. This is a protein that is a key structural component of skin. As you age collagen production slows and as a result the skin structure starts to break down, and this results in deep wrinkles.
So to recap the key things in dark deep wrinkles is leaking blood vessels and damaged collagen, and these are the main things that a quality anti-wrinkle cream should be targeting.

So how does Hydrolyze stand up? Well Hydrolyze has a dual action in that it targets both dark lines and deep wrinkles. Hydrolyze contains two important ingredients Haloxyl and Matrixyl 3000.
First of all Haloxyl’s mode of action is to target the leaking blood that collects under the eyes which is responsible for dark lines.
Essentially this compound works to loosen the blood in this pooling area and flush it out, so that the concentration of dark blood is much less, which results in dark lines disappearing over time. Haloxyl also works to strengthen the small blood vessels under the eyes so that they stop leaking in the first place.
Matrixyl 3000 is what targets the collagen damage which is responsible for wrinkles forming. It stimulates new tissue growth to fill wrinkles from within and thicken the skin.
Another key element in Matrixyl is its ability to suppress the body’s production of excess interleukins, which are simply compounds produced in the body in larger volume when you age, (these are responsible for wrinkles).
So with all that said the two main reasons for wrinkles and dark lines forming are leaking blood vessels under the eyes and collagen breakdown in the skin structure. Hydrolyze targets BOTH of these issues.

From my research on consumer sites I found the feedback to be very positive for Hydrolyze, with people impressed with the results they were getting.
If I were to make a complaint about the product it would be that the company say you can try Hydrolyze for free, which is true to a degree, however you do have to pay for the postage, so it might end up paying $6-7 to try it, which is pretty reasonable anyway, but I just thought that should be made more clear.
One of the things I like about Hydrolzye is that the company are very reputable and easy to contact. They have numerous contact numbers including international contact numbers. I called their number before writing this review to test their answer speed and service, and I was impressed.
The only reason I did this was because I can’t stand companies that offer you products and have a 100% refund policy but when you try to contact them, they don’t answer. Thankfully Hydrolyze are not like this.
At the end of the day, the longer you leave dark lines and wrinkles, the worse they become. In fact not only do they get worse nearly all treatments that you try will not be as effective if the lines and wrinkles are very dark and deep, so it makes sense to start sooner rather than later or you might regret it!
